Mission of Cosma S.A.

Our mission is to promote the safe and healthy use of products derived from plant extracts, with a particular focus on cannabinoids, offered to our customers as food products, cosmetics, cosmetic and pharmaceutical raw materials, as well as medicinal and veterinary products.

Our mission at Cosma S.A. is to create and deliver hemp products of the highest quality that serve the well-being of our patients, as well as support the further development and establishment of the therapeutic use of hemp in medical practice.

Cosma S.A. strives to provide a wide range of hemp products, from dietary supplements to prescription medicinal products. We are convinced that Polish patients deserve access to a diverse range of products that meet the highest standards.

Our portfolio is carefully composed on the basis of dried plants and plant extracts. All our products undergo rigorous testing, which includes analysis of chemical and terpene profiles, in accordance with the strict requirements of European legislation.

We believe that having a wide range of products - with different levels of THC, CBD, CBG, as well as terpenes - is key to advancing the therapeutic use of cannabis. We aim to increase patient safety by providing products with proven efficacy, as well as to support doctors in making informed and responsible therapeutic decisions.

Plant extracts

Over the past decade, interest in plant extracts in Europe has grown significantly. As the leader in the global essential oil market, Europe has recorded a market value of $3.9 billion in 2020. The European market is expected to grow even faster in the coming years, with an annual growth rate of 9.6% from 2022 to 2029.

Imports of essential oils into the EU increased by an average of about 3% per year between 2017 and 2021, a trend driven by growing awareness of mental health issues and a growing preference for natural alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs
The market for European plant extracts is expected to grow by 7.1% per year between 2021 and 2028, reaching $5.991 million by 20281. Cosma S.A. is poised to meet this growing demand by offering extracts that are useful in a variety of sectors - from food and cosmetics to feed production.
In 2021, European imports of plant extracts amounted to more than 77,000 tons, an annual increase of 8% from 2017. Cosma S.A., recognizing the growing interest in plant extracts, is committed to supplying these valuable raw materials to the food, cosmetic and feed sectors. We are working on the production of plant extracts using the CO2 extraction method. This advanced technology makes it possible to produce extracts with high purity and concentrated potency. We aim to provide dense or standardized extracts tailored to the needs of industrial customers.
